Visiting a new church can feel like a big step. We want to make it as easy as possible. Here’s what to expect.
Service Time
We gather on Sundays at 10:00am. The service typically lasts about 75 minutes.
Location and Parking
We are located at 930 Trunk Rd, Duncan, BC. Parking is available in front of the church and in the rear lot.
What to Wear
Come as you are. You’ll find some people in their Sunday best and many in jeans and t-shirts — or anywhere in between. You’ll be welcomed either way.
When You Arrive
There will be friendly faces at the entrance to welcome you. You won’t be singled out — just greeted warmly and free to find a seat wherever you’re comfortable.
What Happens in the Service
We start with a time of music and prayer led by our praise team. The songs are a mix of contemporary worship along with some classics and hymns, mostly led by guitar and keyboard. Lyrics are projected at the front so you can sing along as you feel comfortable.
After the songs there’s a brief children’s message, and then kids head to their Sunday School classes. Our pastor shares a message grounded in Scripture and connected to daily life. We close with a few more songs (the kids rejoin us), and then everyone is invited for coffee, tea, and juice in the hall.
Kids and Nursery
Kids are an important part of our community, and we have programs for every age group. There’s a kids check-in and welcome desk in the lobby when you arrive.
- Nursery — for babies to age 5, cared for by our volunteers.
- Sunday School — for ages 5 to grade 5, during the service. Kids head to their classes before the message and rejoin the service during the closing songs.
- AREA68 — for grades 6-8, on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month. A time of teaching and conversation with caring leaders, helping tweens grow in their faith.
